Group Meetings this Summer will be held on Wednesdays from Noon to 1:45 PM in Dearborn Observatory Room 23.
Please contact
Ilya Mandel
if you would like to volunteer to present something or suggest a topic for discussion. We can accommodate any format, from short informal talks on recent research results to journal-club style discussions and special seminars by visitors.
The arXiv Reading Group will be held on Mondays from 1:00 - 2:00 PM in Dearborn Observatory Room 23.
Please contact
Will Farr for more information. Prior reading of the arXiv is *not* required; willingness to comment on/explain abstracts and papers in your area to the other people in the group as they come up *is*.

distortions it causes in the CMB (the SZ effect), and its imprint on the Lyman Alpha
forest. It should be a very interesting discussion!
Please come prepared to give a brief summary of what you are working on, and with
any questions you have about Shirley's research. The meeting will be held
