Josh Fixelle

Josh is a PhD student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Northwestern University. Advised by Professor Dr. Fred Rasio, he works on stellar astrophysical fluid dynamics and tidal disruptions using Smoothed-particle Hydrodynamics. His interests include tidal disruption physics, accretion disk formation mechanisms, multi-scale physics methods, and heterogeneous computing.
