The first two years will be at the Department of Astronomy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (with Prof. Yue Shen), with the third year at the CIERA at Northwestern University (with Prof. Claude-Andre Faucher-Giguere). The postdoctoral researcher will work on time-series imaging data from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite for a broad range of extragalactic science questions and related theoretical interpretation. Candidates must have a PhD at the time of beginning this position. Candidates with expertise in photometry, difference imaging, time series analysis and experience with Kepler or TESS data will be considered favorably.
