Noah Rogers is a postdoctoral researcher working at CIERA with Dr. Allison Strom on the CECILIA project. His research focuses on the abundance of heavy elements in astrophysical systems, including extragalactic H II regions, local low-mass galaxies, and distant star-forming galaxies. To reveal the chemical enrichment of these systems, Noah utilizes deep spectra from a variety of observatories: UV from the Hubble Space Telescope, optical and NIR from numerous ground-based observatories, and MIR data acquired by the James Webb Space Telescope. These data are used to understand the gas-phase physics of ionized regions and how these regions have chemically evolved to their present-day abundances.
