CIERA is looking for a motivated and reliable undergraduate student to support our staff!
Work with CIERA staff to collect and analyze business and programmatic data from a variety of sources, and to develop metrics and associated dashboards with visualizations.
Position Details
- Dates: Starting as early as June 1 and no later than June 17.
- Position will continue through at least August 31. Opportunity for extension into the academic year and future years.
- Minimum of half-time, potetnially up to full-time through August 31. If continued into academic years, hours will be reduced accordingly.
- Location: CIERA – 1800 Sherman Ave, Evanston, IL (on the edge of NU’s Evanston campus).
- In-person preferred, but hybrid will also be considered.
- Pay: $15/hour
Qualifications
- Any major with relevant experience will be considered.
- Relevant backgrounds might include coursework or applied experience in: computer science, engineering, math, statistics, physics, astronomy, planetary science.
- At least basic proficiency with python and Excel is preferred (though additional on-the-job training can be provided).
- Candidates with the possibility of continuing to work with CIERA for at least 1-2 years (e.g. current freshmen or sophomores) are especially encouraged to apply.
