Ryan Chornock and Daniel Lecoanet
This fall, we are excited to welcome Ryan Chornock and Daniel Lecoanet to CIERA as two new astrophysics faculty members.
Ryan Chornock joins as an Associate Professor of the Department of Physics & Astronomy, with his research focusing on energetic cosmic explosions in the form of supernovae and gamma-ray bursts.
Daniel Lecoanet’s research is centered around astrophysical and geophysical fluid dynamics. He joins as an Assistant Professor within the Department of Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics.
