Christina Paton is a spatial data and technology leader with a background in environmental science, policy, and data engineering. She is a Tech Lead at Planet Labs, where she builds large-scale satellite imagery data pipelines and the systems that turn Earth observation data into usable information. Her interests include building geospatial data systems that can support a more equitable and climate-resilient world. Previously, Christina worked in data science and engineering on applications of geospatial data to climate, development, and public policy. She holds a BA from Northwestern University and an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University.
