Jason Wang joined CIERA in Fall 2022 as an Assistant Professor of Physics & Astronomy. Jason takes images of faint exoplanets by removing the glare of their host stars using techniques such as coronagraphy and interferometry to trace out their orbits and measure the properties of their atmospheres. He also studies their atmospheres through low and high resolution spectroscopy.
