Christine grew up in Lincolnwood, Illinois and got her BS in Communications from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. In her free time, she is most likely reading (especially anything to do with history), working crossword puzzles, knitting, or savoring the films of Buster Keaton.
As Program Assistant and Assistant to the Director, Christine handles:
- Assisting Director with scheduling, correspondence, and other tasks
- Assisting the Events & Marketing Coordinator with social media, news, and other external communications
- Supports the Remote Observing Room and Time Allocation Committee
- Supports the Science Advisory Board
- Administrative support of the REACH program
- Other project/committee/program support as needed
