Beverly Lowell is a PhD student and NSF Graduate Research Fellow working in Sasha Tchekhovskoy’s group. She is from Chicago and did her undergraduate at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). She uses numerical methods to study black hole accretion in a variety of astrophysical contexts.
