Miguel Angel S Martinez is a PhD candidate in Prof. Rasio’s group with an interest in the many rich problems associated with gravitational dynamics. He currently focuses on the dynamics of massive black holes in dense stellar environments, but he has worked on a variety of related problems. These include the study of the evolution of stellar triples and the production of gravitational wave sources in LIGO and LISA. He is also interested in the dynamics of exoplanets and exomoons, including work done in collaboration with Prof. Lithwick on the role of chaos in sculpting multiplanet systems.
