  1800 Sherman, 8031

Fulya’s research focuses on understanding how dynamical interactions shape the properties of stars and, ultimately, the compact objects formed within dense star clusters. Performing realistic N-body and hydrodynamic simulations, she studies a number of physical processes including stellar collisions and mergers, as well as the growth and spin-up of black holes through accretion of gas and through successive mergers with other black holes.
